DANCING GORILLA

we have started feeding 700 plus kids and their mothers on our Saturday feeding, this past week it was raining and cold but still the kids walked as far as 10 miles for a hot meal and a message, and on Sunday we went to one of the villages that the kids walk from about 5 miles away and held a church service for children and we feed them, we feed around 350 and a team came in from Alabama and they brought some dancing gorilla ( ok they were people dressed up in costumes) the kids really loved it and had a great time.

Skittels

Skittles skittles skittles Who would of thought that skittles would be the big hit, I tried to give out skittles candy to the children in Zambrano and it became crazy, The things we take for granite in the US is like gold to others, when picking a fruit off of a tree or eating beans three times a day all week is the diet for the majority of the children we feed. The hot meal that we are able to provide them and a little left over Valentine candy goes a long way. Yea and for those in Baton Rouge that reads these blogs I could use a fitted LSU hat M/L
